WMA's on a Mac?

    Anyone know if these can be played? A mate of mine gave me a data disc with some songs on it but they're all in wma format. Anyway I can convert them to something iTunes friendly on my Macbook?

    As long as they aren't pro or lossless VLC should be able to play them afaik. There's also Flip4Mac.

    vlc player will them. or windows media player for mac will play them. or yes, add them to your itunes library and it will convert them to mp3 or whatever..

    is that flip4mac not just for wmv?? he asked for wma??

    i dunno.. my itunes (7.?? latest version anyway..) can convert wma's no probs..

    work with wma's too, although im not sure if protected wmas will play, i think i remember some drm protection stripper software mentioned here a few weeks back though?

    I already have flip4mac so it might be that they're protected. The file picture has a little padlock on it so that's probably the case. monkeyspider you couldn't link me to that protection stripper could you?
