second sky connection

    Hi all,
I currently have a single sky connection in my living room.
The cable coming from the sky disk is coming into the house via a hole drilled by the installer and is connecting directly to the sky box.
I'm in a new house and there are a few cable connections in the house that are currently not used. They are covered by a blank socket cover with the cable tied up behind it.

I want to get a sesond connection in the bedroom so that I can watch the same channels upstairs(I don't need mulit room viewing). There is a a similar cable point in the bedroom.

I contacted a local SKY agent who says that he can use the cables that are currently not used but that I also need a red eye device (he says it is about the size of a small mouse) in one of the rooms connected to one of the telly's.

He is charging me €74 to do this.

I was told thatI could do this myself by buying 2 Aerial plates + 1 Aeriel lead out of sky box into living room + buy the red eye and hook that up to 2nd ariel plate in the bedroom.

Has anyone done this out there???
