Hi i just joind the forums and i'm brand new to airsoft, infact i dont even have a gun yet (yes i know why does he join an airsoft site if he dosen't have a gun)well i was thinking of getting this gun: http://www.airsoft-warrior.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=16_46&products_id=272or if eneyone has eney advise on which gun to get. I was thinking of going to HRTA this saturday but i dont now if they have a number or if they have an age limit, if any of you could help that would be great

That gun looks a bit weak (200 fps), I'd have a look around this site.....

Most of the automatics on it pack the same punch, and that's the site most of us buy from, so you'd be on par with the rest of us if you buy from there. Plus it's great value! Someone else will recommend a gun for ye

HRTA do have a number, although I don't have it. The owner of the site posts on here, his name is 'nonex', so if you see him, send him a private message or somethin. There's no age limited as far as I know (there were 13 or 14 year olds at the site last time and it wasn't a problem), as long as you're not like.... wearing nappies or anything

Pop along on Saturday, you can rent a gun for quite cheap and see what the sport is like. Do you like near Swords in Dublin?

yeah i live up in howth about 20 to 30 mins drive so i should be good and yeah i'm 13 so i should be good and i'll leave my nappies at home lol:p

dont settle on a gun untill you try a few out. pick a gun you like the look and feel of as most of them shoot about the same.

I have a couple of friends that'll be starting soon, they're southside so they don't count though Another friend is Northside and I'm trying to sway him over

Hi, welcome to the forum, I bought a gun similer to that for the same price when airsoft first got legalised to see if it would get through customs, it really isnt worth it as they are no real comparison to a proper airsoft gun, very low powered and incredibly inaccurate,the 200 fps is very optimistic, they come with thin paper targets which the bb's can bearly punch through. personly i would go to hrta this weekend and rent a gun for the day to see what they are like, you will also be able to see what other have and get a better idea b4 buying.
