streaming pages wont play

ok got a new computer with vista but it wont play any links to radio stations that you can listen live to. for example todayfm if you click on the link it just stalls windows media player comes up but nothign happens. I disabled the firewall but still no help. anyone please know what I am doing wrong or how to fix it?…

hmm might be something simple like missing codecs. try downloading and installing the K-Lite codec pack. it's free at http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm
