    Hi,

We have to connect Sky digital to VCR/dvd recorder to watch satellite channels. Problem is, we just got new DVD recorder, and although I have managed to tune in all cable channels, I cannot record from Sky as it is on a separate setting...

Know im not really explaining it that well, but was just wondering if anyone can explain how to record sky to DVD recorder....

Help!! Im such a dope when it comes to things like this!!!!

    Thanks,

    L

SCART from Sky to DVD recorder. Select External input, not a TV channel.

Some DVD recorders can be set to assign their SCART input to a channel number.

It is possible to assign the $ky box to an unused UHF channel and the DVD recorder to a second one (assuming you can find one) and use ordinary RF flyleads but using SCART cables is a far better option. You get a much better picture and stereo sound
