Warehouse Express...

    Hi All,

Seeing as we like to share shopping experiences, I just ordered an 'item' from Warehouse Express and thought I'd share my thoughts on it...

Granted the website looks like it was done by 15 year old, they do have tons of stuff at really good prices. I easily found my 'item' which was priced on par with the rest of the usual online places. Checkout was a breeze and you don't even need to create an account.

On checkout, I was given a quote of approx £6 shipping, but after placing the order, got an email confirming the shipping price of £35. That's the normal cost of shipping to RoI unfortunately, even though you have to select your country of shipping before you pay and shipping to Ireland is outside of their next-day delivery policy. On the bright side, when you ring their help number, a real person actually picks up the phone without actually having to go through a menu system...

£35 (€50 odd) for shipping? Seems like a rip-off to me. What were you buying?

I'd check your mail again. I got one of those £35 quotes and a while later I got a mail telling me that it was a mistake and it would cost the six or seven quoted on the site.
    Then again. You never know.
