Disk brakes for the Mustang

    Yea!

Myself and a friend (actually mainly my friend) managed to put disk power brakes on my Mustang, he had done his the previous week, so mine went on faster, I used to have manual drums.

We got a kit with everything in it from the US, but not everything fitted out of the box, there was a bit of hammering and cutting to get everything right. We assembled the brakes and calipers on the bench, then took the drums and spindles off and put the new ones on. After that installed the servo and the master cylinder, the hardest part was working with the break lines, they had to be bent, and the nuts are really soft, so easy ruin.

Its like driving a different car, brilliant! Much easier to drive, they're still bedding in, but great performance. highly recommend to anyone.
