    Hi

My laptop screen has recently given me a lot of trouble.
When i turn it on fuzzy lines appear across it and then it just goes black.
When i tilt the screen down to a certain point it comes back and then gradually you can start to lift it up every few minutes. After about 10 minutes it eventually sitting up properly.
Anybody know whats wrong and how much roughly it would cost to fix.

    Cheers

Sounds like a loose connection to the screen to me.

The cost of repairing that would depend on whether or not the screen needed replacing, or if it would be possible to just replace the cable connecting the screen to the mother board. Dunno what the story would be there.

What make of laptop is it? That will really determine your repair options.

Also most places will charge just to look at it. The last place i got my Toshiba laptop repaired in charges €125 to look at it. They then wave this fee if you actually get it repaired. But in any case the minimum charge is still €125.
