Whats are your favorite cover songs ever?

    Personally I'd have:

A Perfect Circle (Diary of a Lovesong) - Music from Lovesong by The cure with Diary of a madman (Ozzy) lyrics

Deftones - Drive - A cover of The Cars - Drive

Heard a fantastic smoky jazz version of Soundgarden's Black Hole Sun the other day, no idea who it's by. A great re-invention.

Yep that Cake song "I will survive" is great. (Great band anyway.)
Johnny Cash version of NIN Hurt.. very booful.
Jeff Buckley version of "hallelooja" (can't spell, know that's not right) Leonard Cohen. (Leonard Cohen is a legend too)
Can't think of any more at the moment...
Sinead O'connor does some great covers too.. "Black coffee & cigarettes" and more on that 40's (?) album she did years ago. (I haven't listened to S O'connor in years now but liked older stuff). She's a very talented singer.
