Where is Vekring Paintball?

    A German friend has invited me to go paintballing with him and his mates in Vekring in May. Thing is neither of us know where it is.

    As far as I can make out, it's in France, but any site that looks like it may have info is blocked by Websense!

    I paintballed for the first time ever in Kaiserslautern in February and totally loved it! It's a lot cheaper than doing it over here. As it's a USAF base, everything was paid for in Dollars. Fees for the day were $60 including equipment hire, field fees etc. Loads of arenas of varying sizes and some brilliant "speedball" zones. A box of 2000 balls was $60. I'm told places here charge €10 for 100 balls. Is that true?

    Veking, never heard of that one mate.

    As for the paint, most walk on sites will charge you €10 for 100 shots straight off. You can get deals where you may pay €70 and get 1000 paintballs and extra 100 could be €5, depending on the deal that you work out. It is pretty bad form alright. You can get a box of 2000 for a bout €35 euros or around $50 if you convert it.

    ditpaintball: That $60 price is for non-members of the club. I think members pay about $40 for 2000.
