Neteller - time to get your money out

Anyone that has money still in Neteller should probably think of getting it out asap!
Here's the latest from Lou Krieger's blog which is usually very up to date on the state of the industry. I've heard the same from a few high volume/high stakes players too.

I have 5k of 'hard-earned' sitting in Neteller, once the VC upgrade completes I thin I'll get in there asap....

I doubt it's true, but why risk it.

I just wish doyle's would hurry the **** up and give me my money, I haven't got enough on my other sites to multi-table 1/2.

fwiw, it took Doyles about 9 days to cash me out (think another boardsie had the same experience) so I wouldn't be too worried waiting for the $$$$

Eh I have a good sum of money in transit from neteller at the moment to my bank account. Lets hope it reaches it else I'm absolutely fooked.

it's a bit ridiculous that it's gonna take a week+ from doyles, gjp is pretty much instant.

it's probably due to the volume of players currently pulling their funds out of Doyles (now that they have no player base anymore ) rather than inefficiency tbh

Whats the best alternative to neteller atmo.some sites only except withdrawals through the same method u used to deposit.
even if they are not in trouble, the panic withdrawals can only be bad.
ive put the 1k i had into the atm card.handiest way to get the cash fast..
the rest is all over the place (various poker sites)

The amis seem to be mostly moving to epassporte but I know nothing about it.
I'm going to leave my funds at some sites in the meantime until things settle down. Of course i've a large chunk of change in transit grom DR which is not good

I heard yesterday that a lot of people were having trouble getting funds from neteller as well as hearing that a lot of high volume players were pulling all their funds from neteller too. Yesterday I thought it was just people worrying over nothing but finding this article this morning has made me change my mind.

just checked them out and seem to be ok but are they not going to come under the same pressure as neteller if they are forced out of the US market.(worse in fact as they are US based).Also u cannot withdraw directly to you Bank Acc except through wire $50 charge

Things were slow in January but seemed to have picked up again, Ive just put a withdrawal, will update when it comes through.

Very easy for rival sites to spread rumours to try to kill neteller btw.

2 withdrawals from GJP to Neteller to BOI account in the past 2 weeks. Both went through over about 2/3 days each time.

There was nothing new in that blog report that we didn't already know. We know that Neteller have had delays recently and that they had an issue with switching their main bank in the UK. Just cause some guy in a blog realises it when he reads it on a Canadian site doesn't make it news. I mean have you seen the state of the Canadian site he mentioned?

yep - GJP -->> Neteller -->> BOI Account is the nuts. In my BOI account 3 days after I click withdraw on GJP. On top of that, I've never been charged more than €1.

VC -->> Neteller is a joke! 5 days i'm waiting for VC to give me MY money. Their support is absolutely useless too. I remember AllInPoker had the perfect setup. They had a BOI account which they could transfer money from. You setup your BOI account with them, clicked withdraw and it bypassed all 3rd party filtering mechanisms by manually sending you that amount from their BOI account to yours.

Most companies reserve the right to charge a customer interest on delayed payments. I wonder if anyone has succesfully done it the other way around?

Neteller have an aversion to emails.

Go onto live chat and just be patient, I was waiting nearly an hour but once some one came on I got it sorted in a minute.

My a\c was also closed last week as I had seemingly logged into my a/c from the US (I didn't).

I think they're just closing lots of US$ a/c's once withdrawals are made or something.

Anyway, a withdrawal came through 3 days after I ordered it to my BOI account. I've another one on the way from Sunday night so we'll see how it goes.

No was only going to put money in ppp so i could get a cheque out i wont be depositing money to play in their the site makes me cry to sleep

VC to my bank account takes 24 hours max. except weekends. one of the main reasons i play there.Its called telegraphic transfer.simple and its free.
hate the new software so ill probably not use it so much any more.just letting u know

As usual, I've had trouble with one of my last ten or so cashouts but I still find it as reliable as it ever was before. I cashed out money on Tuesday evening and it was in my bank this morning.
