You can get Norton for Mac but you don't need it.

Viruses really aren't an issue for macs.

I've been using macs for about 10 years and have yet to come across a virus.

    my advice, none.

I know mac is not 100% bullet proof, but it is safer than windows.

By the way if you were walking past a building site on your way to the shop or work would you put on a hard hat while passing. What i am saying is that once you stay away from dicey sites on the web and stick to the safe places you are safe.
am i right or wrong people.

Haven't used anti-virus either, plus from my experiences with Norton on Windows format I definitely won't be getting a copy...

I don't use any, but if your required to because of your school or work then use ClamXav http://www.clamxav.com/ . It free and a hell of a lot better then Norton.

All depends what system version your running if its OSX you can relax in the main though yes clamx is your best option...if your in the classic/9 spec you may aswell upgrade as the cost and time farting with virus software and headache tablets etc....anyhow I have delt with piles of viruses...i remember the good ole days of WDEF that was great, every bugger had it... Mr. Norton has made his cash now, so keep yours in your pocket. ;)

Burn any copies of Norton you have. PC or Mac.

You should have made this a new thread. Useful app. Funny to see that while the iPhone was keeping tabs on you, it doesn't work the other way around!
