Them were the days, found 4 free bag vouchers in the one packet and that was a fairly regular occurrence.

My friend won that Villa for ten thing that was a prize on a Cadburies Dairy Milk bar! Shes really feckin jammy though...she also won a weekend for 2 in Barcelona on the radio last month!! Biatch!!:mad:

I used to find it quite a regular occurance to open the wrapper of a lucky lolly when I was a kid and find the magical Number 5 on ths inside thus winning me yet another free lucky lolly. After winning 10 lollies from your original 5p, and half your teeth fell out, it began to turn into a bit of a vicious circle though.

Years ago when i was in school, perri crisps ran a promotion where you could win £1000 or a bag or crisps i won quite a few packets of crisps, then at my school sports day while standing on the stage i opened up a packet..... it told me i won £1000 i jumped around like a lunatic for about ten mins, then i actually read the thing,i needed to send in my coupon and it would be entered into a draw i was devastated....:(

I used to work in a place that did children's birthday parties a few years ago, when Walkers were giving away money in their bags of crisps. We used to have to fill big trays with Walkers crisps for the kids parties every day. I won between €5 to €30 a day for a few weeks!

i havent wone anything, not even the little blue bag in the salt your own.

Faith: Have you ever seen "the green wing" where the medical students put the walkers crisps through the MRI scanner to get the ones with the money in?
My sister-in law was the lucky one: she won 5K in flights and hotels anywhere in the world (this was 10 years ago) from american express. they went to the states, thailand, bali, hong kong and had enough for the isle of white.
She then won 2K in a lottery and just last week 2K at bingo!

Win €10,000 instantly or something. The thing is, the outter wrapper can easily slide off and back on again, thus revealing the win or lose message.
Would any shop workers be that devious?

YES! YES! THEY WOULD!!
I remember years ago working in a shop while Coke were running a promo on free bottles, check the label and see if ud won kinda thing. So what we'd do is go through all the bottles in the fridge to find the winning ones and stick them to oneside, then we would purchase a winning bottle,hand over the winning wrapper and go select our free bottle of coke...which (amazingly) would also be a winning bottle!!! INCREDIBLE COINCIDENCE NO!?!?!

ha ha. we'd get like ten bottles for the price of one. simpler times. oh and the laughing as we'd watch some kid eagerly rip off his wrapper in the hopes of another free bottle knowing he'd had two chances of winning!! haha.

Evil but yet simpler times.

I always had a superhuman ability to read the inside of drink labels to see if I won

years ago usta win free cinema tickets on diet coke ever time, and the same with video rentals on Sprite

In all the years of these promotions I've never won anything.
Then again, my general lack of participation in junk-food promotions has won me the far better prize of... (drum roll)... not being fat.
tbh if you're winning stuff inside drink cans and chocolate wrappers, it's time to start asking yourself some serious questions IMO
