Its just another way of squeeking them in and can be very effective if you can get it right some can do it some cant i just use the wam caller and find it effective its the cheap button type caller with a hole in the middle cost a fiver or something dont have to pay big money for the electric ones although they are good

Try to get your hands on a Warrener DVD, he is the master of fox calling on his hand.

Are there not comercial fox callers -they should be quite cheap-they make the sound of an injured rabbit?

well when we used to shoot fox's years ago, from a box on top of a nissan vanette, had a sun roof half ways back the van and a roof rack with a box on top, we used to have a spare fox call, and basically it was, a piece of polystyrene and rub it against a damp window.... great sound.. and worked..:)

sucking off the inside of a cupped hand,if you look most people have a palm line running between the thumb and the index finger to the other side of their hand,do it as if you were covering you mouth from a smell where your thumb is on one side of your nose
start off slowly and draw out the cry and by straighting your 2nd 3rd and small finger the higher the pitch just by opening you hand this way, takes alot of practice but when it works make sure you have a shotgun back-up because some of them wont stop when hearing it especially the younger ones
