Got the following message when clicking on NAS

    This address is restricted

This address uses a network port which is normally used for purposes other than Web browsing. Firefox has canceled the request for your protection.

How can i stop firefox doing this?

You need to find out what port number it's using and add a string key on the about:config page called “network.security.ports.banned.override” and give it a comma-delimited list of allowed port numbers.

    thanks for reply

didnt know how to find out what port number it was using

i got around this by using the firefox add on which allows you to switch browers to internet explorer, i stumbled upon this the other day in another post here

so now i have the home page happy days :(

    anyways still in trouble

i cant get on to the adminstrator page now

when i doubleclick on ts101 i get the home web page when i click on any of the options to enter i get password prompt, i input new password press enter and prompt reappears straightaway if i ignore this the page loads till halfway and then hangs and if i reenter password this page just hangs also or get login failed message

i have tried pressing refresh and going thru all the steps again a few times with no luck then i tried reset button on ts-101 as well but still the same

I am using windows xp professional sp2 fully up to date with all microsoft updates. i am using internet explorer 7

I am using bullguard as my virus/firewall/antispam package

I have added the NAS devices own Ip address, to the BullGuard's Trusted Hosts in their firewall.

ive been at this since 5pm with no joy

    anybody got any ideas
