Just a quick question, wot do u think of an 18yr old girl who is very mature for her age and looks like she is about 20/21 yr old, going out with a guy thats 22 ? is there a big deal ? to be honest it doesnt bother me but would people be like " man ur 22, she's 18! what are u doing? "

No, that's barely an age difference at all.

Plus, women generally mature faster than men anyway!!

Well one of my friends is going out with a 25 year old and she's 19. Thats too much if an age difference in my opinion especially as my friends quite naive. Your situation seems perfectly normal to me. Don't worry about it!

Its not much of an age difference when you are 18 OP, tbh. Would be much worse if you were 14 and he 18.

Ha i saw a girl once who was 20 and I was 29, I was well happy till a mate asked me how I would feel about going to her 21st next year..

I ended it soon after that ...

4 years is no age difference issue, have fun

Jez man thats nothing! Listen I met my boyf wen I was 16 and he was 23. 5yrs later and we're still happy and living together. I can honestly say no one ever batted an eyelid about the age thing. If you get along and your happy then thats the main thing!

Really bugs me when ppl make a big deal out of age difference.

I was 25 when I started going out with my then 18 year old girlfriend. Unlike your friend she wasn't/isn't naive....point is OP, age is meaningless as long as its legal and both parties are mature adults (not that many of us will ever truely be mature adults!). 22 - 18 sounds ideal to me in terms of male versus female maturity

Nah, I know someone who is 21 and is going out with a 29 year old.. shes been going out with him since she was 18! As long as you are emotionally the same I dont think the age matters....
