[Not sure if this is old news or not]

Pasted from a mail I got from IPN:
Following the success for both Exhibitors and Visitors of Photo Fest Ireland 2006 in June last year – IPN are delighted to announce Photo Fest Ireland 2007 - held in the new state-of-the-art Conference Centre in the ‘Crowne Plaza Hotel’, Dublin Airport. It will be a one-day event on Sunday 29th April 2007, for further details on the Crowne Plaza Conference Centre, please link to the following website page:-
    http://www.photofestireland.com/visitors.htm

This event will be the largest Photographic Trade Show of it's kind to date. For the first time in Ireland all the top Photographic/IT brands will be present. This extensive Exhibitors list will be announced over the next coming weeks.

The target audience will be – professional; freelance & amateur photographers. Additional visitors will include a presence from the creative industry, and large organisations from around Ireland that require photographic/IT equipment and services. As a buyer of image making equipment or materials, a distributor or manufacturer of photographic related/IT products or services - this is an event for you.

And for all you Canon-heads, they will be there debuting the EOS -1D MARK III, apparently. You can ask them how much they price them for in Europe

    Cheers,

    B.

LOL - one free with everyone sold!!

It brings up an interesting topic I suppose, would you forfeit local warranty to buy the body from the good ol US of A?

...and get an international mack warranty perhaps? I thought the standard warranty would be worldwide these days?!?

Some items are WW (& I dont just mean cameras) but a lot of these manufacturers are very crafty and will only offer region warranty only.

If someone is going to B&H then ask to see if they supply a WW warranty as cant see anything on their webby (only glanced and not thoroughly researched)
