Been at table for about 90 minutes. Villain in the hand has been at the table about 30 minutes and has been aggressive in terms that he seems to bet most flops and seems to pounce on weakness. I have been my usual tight self but about 5 minutes before this hand I layed down a hand on flop where I raised, made a bet and folded to a re-raise when I was getting 6 to 1 on my money, it was that bad.

I start hand with 97 and he covers has about 300 I think.
I am on bb with Q3o, our villain is utg, table is 7 handed and 5 see a flop.
Flop is is Qh Jc 5h
I think about betting and check as does everyone else
    Turn is Tc
I bet 10 and he raises to 25.
    Easy fold?
If you call the turn then do you always have to call a river bet assuming it doesn't complete any flush or straight draws?

Yeah I'd fold this, but I'm ****. Bet he had a straight draw though!

    Which guy was this?

don't think you should bet the turn, easy fold now. Don't buy-in short.

if he has been agressive and if its in the jackpot i would tend to put people in two categories super aggressive and maniacs then id say that you should call.

he would probably bet the flop on the draw which is very common there and could have a 10 at best but most likely has a gut-shot and is thinking you are easy money(not far from the truth :D ) because you folded to a re-raise the last time.

i wouldnt say you always have to call but depending on what came i probably would a lot of the time in the jackpot but then again im a fish so what do i know

what day was this as friday and saturday have more drunks but young lads like us are more inclined to get called down with bottom pair on a sunday by the perceived regulars

That board has to hit a lot of limpers. If you bet the flop, and get two callers, you are going to hate so many cards on the turn and will check fold a lot.

Maybe open folding is going too far, but given you stack and the nature of the games there, i would do that ahead of betting.

I was going to bet the flop then I seen the aggressive guy grab his chips looking like he was going to bet so I checked and he checked behind me (He told me afterwords he seen me do the same thing)
Anyway I called re-raise on turn, river was blank. I checked he shipped it like I knew he would and I felt compelled into calling as I called turn bet and I felt he could do this with a draw a lot and he turned over KQ.

I recognise my mistakes on the turn but on the river should I always be calling because of likelyhood of draw or just fold?

Calling the river is horrendous. Folding to the turn raise is best. You literally beat nothing on the turn.

Firstly feel free to slaughter me for this, only way I learn.

Hmmmn, I am probably not adapting my style enough to suit the game. I am using my strategy for 6 max online which is quite differant to this game. Something I will have to give more thought to.
