Saw these new alco drinks and thought I'd get my reviewing hat on :D

"Kiss" is an Estonian (owned by a Latvian company though maybe, there's not a lot of English in the small print) brand that has just this week jumped to my notice.

    First up...

KISS Spritzer : This is a wine spritzer in a can. It's bloomin fantastic! It's 4.5% alcoholic volume, but you really don't notice the alcohol. The taste is fresh and crisp because the wine is diluted with sparkling water so it avoids being overly sweet like lemonade based spritzers. It's actually a really beautiful little drink, something you could enjoy all night long. I normally find the likes of West Coast Cooler get a bit too sweet and bubbly, but this spritzer has a very natural feel to it. Quality.

KISS Cherry Cider : The first thing you notice ,apart from the red colour, is the very distinctive smell of cherries. Normally I'd take a strong smell to be a bad sign, but I was pleasantly suprised by the first taste. I was expecting something terrible and strong in the style of those old Hubba Bubba bubble gum yokes, but the taste is once again refreshing. It seems they like to keep their beverages crisp do the aul KISS. This is definitly a drink for people who like the taste of cherries, there isn't an over powering flavour, but there is a flavour that is very distinct and cherry like. The flavour is more like an after taste then something that over powers you at the start,if you keep it in your mouth you get no real flavour, but once you swallow you're left with a pleasant cherry buzz. The bubbles are small and gentle, this isn't the mouth melting alchopop style fair of other easy drinkers.

KISS Melon&Raspberry Cider : A very pale colour which is nice. Slight raspberry smell. The flavour is very non descript really, once again it's fresh and not over powering. Hold it in your mouth and nothing... swallow and there's an interesting flavour. It's hard to pick out the flavour though, it's more on the raspberry side with the melon just beefing up the taste. At the start this was my least favourite KISS flavour, but by the end I started to get into it and yes, though the flavour is not very prominent, it is very nice.

All three flavours are very refreshing and taste more like 2% then 4.5 . This is defintly a welcome relief from the normal alcopops that are roaming around. I'd even rate these above Kopparbergs as the smaller bubbles, less fizz and subtle flavours really make this an all night drinkable drink. Hopefully they'll stay around cause they're bleedin' rappid!

I also tried the pear flavour that didn't go down as well, but I only had a few moutfuls so I'm not gonna judge it on that... it was alot more standard then the other drinks in the range and I'd prefer a rekordaling or kopparberg to it... bit too dry for me.

I got mine in a Molloys, but I'm sure they can be found elsewhere.
