You have to purchase your ps3 on launch day!!

Just a word of warning. I was told by xtravision that you have to collect your ps3 on launch day otherwise your pre order will not be held. He said this was because if you dont sell all your systems sony wont give them any from the next shipment. Im sure this wont be a problem for anyone because wild horses probably wouldnt keep us away but just so you know. Dont know if its like this everywhere though.

Seriously bananaman, stop talkin to the reps at Xtravision, they're clearly retarded!

In general preordered consoles are held for 24 hours, although you can make an arrangement if you cant collect within that time

And there's plenty of PS3s floatin about, heck they havent even sold out in Japan!

AFAIK, that's just Xtravision. I work for Harvey Norman and I don't know of any specific time limit thats been set that people have to collect their pre-booked consoles within.

To pre-book in our store, a deposit of €200 is required. We're expecting to get about 50 of them initially.

it won't be launch day or lose it! you will have a reasonable time limit to pick it up,3 days perhaps.

Where is that the sales chart for?
All of Europe?

From what I've seen the PSP is being shat on by the DS in the US and Japan, seems very tight in that chart.
