God yeah, I had Gargamel, Papa Smurf, Handy, and Smurfette. Bendy little things!

I had two or three (I also somehow got smurfs in cars but they were bought at a later stage). Were they free with cereal?

I think there was a fairly large range of them as McDonalds toys a few years ago.

Also remember an episode of the Vicar of Dibley where Alice had one. Her grandmother had left it to her and told her it was a priceless antique.

There are the ones i am thinking of! Ithink some were collected through kelloggs cornflakes. Definately didnt get them in happy meals.

As regards vicar of Dibly, Alice should hold on to it as it will be a priceless antique :) I wish i had kept one now.

There's a bunch of these in the house somewhere.

There's a meditating surf, a fireman smurf, Gargamel, a golden smurf, a diving smurf, a chef, a painter and god knows what else.

My niece lined them all up the edge of the table recently and declared, with a sweep of her hand, "Everybody's happy!".

If I get digital camera soon I'll try and upload some pics.
