I'm just wondering does anyone know why my laptop all of sudden won't detect a USB connection?

I think the problem started when I tried to connect a camera but might have had the wrong usb cable... ever since it won't detect any usb I've tried.
I've made sure to check the usb keys all work in other computers and they do.

Any help would be great, thanks.

Look in Control Panel->System->Hardware tab->Device Manager and see if there is any yellow exclamation points on any of the USB devices or controllers.
