Total combat 19 took place in the north of England last night with three irish fighters from the UFR FIGHT TEAM fighting for british titles
first up was the featherweight title between KEVIN McALONAN and gracie barra's DAVE 'SPEEDY' ELLIOT
After a short exchange of strikes Kevin caught Dave with a well timed knee to the mid section that dropped dave,dave went for the ankle lock,kev spun out and knocked dave out with some powerful strikes after 37 seconds of round one.

The middleweight title was contested between washington vale tudo's Lewis Barrow and Steve 'the smiling assassin' lynch
Steve is much the sharper striker and stuffs lewis's take down attemps and punishes him in the clinch with knee nd elbows
After another takedown attempt by lewis,steve sprawls ,lewis manages to pull guard ,steve uses short elbow strikes to ko lewis,again in the first round

Last up is COLIN ROBINSONS clash with ROBERT 'BUZZ' BERRY,shortly to fight Bob Sapp on CAGE RAGE
Before the fight started BUZZ was saying this was just a warm up for the sapp fight,well BIG C gave him some warm up knocking out buzz in the forth minute of the first round,this should put colin in the uk top five

This was a great event with almost two thousand people in attendence,and will be shown on twc tv in the near future

What a superb showing for the UFR Boys! Congrats to all and you must be well proud Davey.

So, I'll remember to watch out for Kevin's knees on March 25th.
