The Coronas.. Have a single out at the moment.. also on Myspace..
Moth Complex.. worth mentioning..

Coronas, meh. I love mike got spiked but they're touring the states at the mo just goes to show you how few options Irish bands have. The Isohels are good though I'm friends with them so perhaps some people might not take that very seriously, check out www.myspace.com/theisohels and listen for yourselves. Travega on first listen seem pretty cool, I'll definitely be checking out the album when its done, I think they're recording in Canada now or something. I've heard many other Irish bands but can't think of any else to put here.

just listening to the isohels now. I like her voice. Ah these bands have to start somewhere though, good to support them.

cowboy x are great..seen them a couple of times live and was always impressed. the album is comparable with their live performance too..

aye Rueben is very good. Got his demo CD, apparently himself and a few friends spent a week by his computer copying the CDs, printing the cover and all. Now thats DIY

there's a great hardcore/post-hardcore/emo/etc. scene around Dublin, thanks to good promoters, bands who are into what they do and of course a fanbase who are also into what they do. Even though I don't listen to many of the bands I must say I'm wholly impressed.

Rest - incredible post-rock/post-metal outfit from Cork, and a big inspiration to Ten Past Seven who've already been mentioned. Released a stunning new EP about two months ago, highly recommended.

Another good band are Exit:Pursued by a Bear.
They play around the Cork scene quite regularly. Great live shows.
