    Seeing as the hot thread is closed, here's a quick run-down of "Odds-to-%":

    The best way to do it is express the odds as a ratio. So 2/1 is 2:1, and to get the % of the left-hand-side, it's (2/(2+1))*100 = 66.66%. For the right-hand-side it's ((1/(2+1))*100 = 33.33%.

    Basically if your odds are X/Y against for something, you work out the % as (Y/(X+Y))*100.

    So where you are a 5/2 dog, the % is worked out as (2/(5+2))*100 = 28.5%. For 7/4, it's (4/(4+7))*100 = 36.6% Etc, etc.

    When you're a favourite, just use the bigger number as the numerator i.e. if you're 3/1 on, it's (3/(3+1))*100 = 75%.
