    Its not true, its just the article about BC, nothing said about the motion sensor after the 1st paragraph.

    Sounds like the report heard they removed the 'emotion engine' and asssumed that meant motion sensing.

    Yea its rubbish. They're removing the PS2 from inside it and replacing it with an emulator, just like the 360 had from the start and like Sony always said they'd be doing at some point in the future.

    Should mean price cuts pretty soon, but on the other hand should also mean much worse backwards compatibility. Hopefully it's a good emulator, because there's a lot of damn good PS2 games which could benefit from the upscaling an emulator could perform.

    when i first saw the thread title i was like "ffs another rumour going around by fifa player newbies"

    i doubt it's true but it will be interesting to see how it pans out.

    I don't think it'll affect the price. The only way they can get the price down is if they sell enough units worldwide to make some money back. And only they know what that sale figure for that is.
