I was just wondering what you would reccommend buying in with in a game such as 1/2 in the fitz?
I generally play tournaments but am just starting out playing cash games.
I played twice in the fitz 1/2 game and bought in with 120 and just feels like im low-stacked in a tourney!

it depends if you can afford it or not. Im a student last time i pld i bought in for 70 and made 310. You can lose your buy-in quickly though if you dont get some big hands early. You cant chase draws as much if you dont have the chips. See what the avg is and buy in for that if your comfortable

I generally buy in for about two hundred-sometimes more If I have to rebuy.

It really depends on how you feel in the game-I think 100 bbs is a good rule of thumb.
Only buy in with an amount you feel happy with-an amount your not afraid to lose.

200 at a minimum. Sometimes up to 500 depending on the stack sizes at the table.

    Bit OT

For those that are interested they play a 2/5 game in Dundalk most nights these days.

The game is one of the loosest you will ever play in.

    Opr

Its really relative to other stack sizes on the table. Minimum €200 at the desk and more if stacks are deeper when you are seated.
