Looking to do a part time MSc or similar in civil engineering. So far the only information I can find is that trinity do one but so far information from them has been limited.

Do UCD do one? There site isnt clear.

DIT dont seem to do any civil wise.

    DCU dont do civil enineering.

    TIT doesnt do it either.

If people know whats involved in the Trinity one in terms of cost per year (or intotal) and time table can they please post here.

Also can people recommend anything else course wise.

Do you want to do a conversion course from say Elec Eng to Civil Engineering?? The University of Ulster do a few courses via the Net to get a MSc to complement your degree, I dont know if that is what you are after???

Seems to me senior management in engineering firms often have MBA or masters in project management.

I think DIT offer Structural Engineering, which is similar in some areas to Civil but mightn't have everything you're looking for.

Just took a peek at the UCD site for Engineering, you're probably best emailing someone there, they do recommend it on the site. UCD might be good because they're renovating the Philips building for the Civils so the equipment would be modern etc. I don't think DIT Bolton St is too impressive.

I know very little about Trinity's Civil Eng course tbh...
