Looking for some good music festival to go to during the summer. I don't want to go to the 2 main ones as i think they are a bit over priced and i would like to go to something new. What is this Midlands Music Festival Like and can ye advise any others?

Castlepalooza was alot of fun last year. Really small and great setup. Food was excellent. Good selection of beer. Lineup wasnt the best but had a few gems. Id definetly go again.

I reckon going out of Ireland is the key to good festivals these days. Much cheaper ticket prices combined with cheap flights results in fun times. :)

was thinkin about castlepalooza myself for this year. Like original poster i've grown a bit disillusioned with the big 2. Too many people, too big to get around, too expensive etc etc...

Any news on Castlepalooza yet? Line-up, when it's on etc?

Any other suggestions of smaller ones taking place in Ireland?

You could try http://www.life-festival.com/. Its meant to be the business, pretty cheap too if you buy the tickets early enough. Maybe not everyones choice of music tho!

"I hate Macs. I have always hated Macs. I hate people who use Macs. I even hate people who don't use Macs but sometimes wish they did. Macs are glorified Fisher-Price activity centres for adults; computers for scaredy cats too nervous to learn how proper computers work; computers for people who earnestly believe in feng shui"

eh....you wouldnt happen to like comic books and star trek would you?
