Right, I've decided to at last upgrade my bass amp situation.
Currently using a warwick combo which is less than superb to say the least.

like what ive heard about this. seems good value for money too.

not sure what to go for in the cab department. i was told to go for at least a 4x10 as it would apprently last longer under constant gigging/abuse ect.

to be honest id be happier with a 2x10 but i'd like to see what you all think.

    how about,

    BAS0000070%2D000.tif&tmp=images400&path=Pfad%201

    or perhaps?
    BAS0000476%2D000.tif&tmp=images400&path=Pfad%201

and stretching the budget a bit,
    BAS0001860%2D000.tif&tmp=images400&path=Pfad%201

oh, by the way i use a rickenbacker 4001 and tend to go for a lot of low end. :D

its all so confusing:confused::confused: . any help much appreciated.

If you go for a lot of low end I'd recommend getting a 1x15" cab, best in conjunction with a 2x10". I don't know much about the amp I'm afraid.

Yeah warwick amps are brutal..no kick out of them. I looked at this set up before it looks good value for money I think Musicstore does a good deal on the head and the4x10s. I didn't go for it in the end due to sheer hastle of getting that size of an amp around plus no where in Dublin has them so you can't try before you by which is a lesson I learned the hard way. Anyway I ended up buying an Ashdown bass amp from Music maker. They do lovely combos and they have a fantastic sound, your Rickenbacker should sound great through it. Great sound and a great price. Anyway best of luck!
