Sorry I'm not much help but I'd like to hear about this also. I was in HomeBase looking for bathroom accesories. They had a set of accesories like a towl ring, a tray, mirror and soap holder at a crazy price price of about €300!! Where else can you get this stuff at a reasonable price?

    Try Atlantic Homecare.

Tried there, very overpriced in my opinion. There was a place in Naas I bought from a few years ago but unable find it or any similar outlet. Any Irish websites I've found so far have either incomplete pricing or information.

I bought a Whb w/pedestal and WC to go from B&Q price 75 and 115 respectively. They do the job nicely (waste was included but taps were extra). I shopped around so I can tell you thats good value.

By any chance do you know anyone who is over and back to Germany?

Sanitary ware is really cheap over there and if I build again I will plan a little further ahead and get stuff over.

Wall hung basins and WC's in particular are increadibly cheap compared to Irish prices, due to the fact that they are much more the norm over there.

Can't think of all the big shops now but www.obi.de is one real big one...

Failing that Heat Merchants offered decent value (by Irish standards) when I last got a load of stuff, but that was 5 yers ago.

Just been through this in the North West.

Got a toilet and sink/pedestal for 190eu. Nice simple clean lined design as well, not usual builders rubbish. Got it from North West heating (think thats what they're called. Design was Qualcerm so I'm sure you get it elsewhere.

Just ordered shower heads off ebay for a LOT less than in the shops here.

Try a seller called dotcombathrooms or tapsuk

Don't know if this will be deleted but anyway...

Doing up a house last year and overbought a load of stuff, but I have a Homebase sink/pedestal and toilet to unload, it was 260euro for the set last year I think. You could have them for 200. I also have mosaic tiles that are somewhere around 120e per sq meter down the quays in Dublin and will sell for 65e. I think there is some fittings as well. Everything sitting in my garage in original boxes and packaging. PM me if interested for photos and confirmed prices as I'll have to check how much I paid for them, I can't remember.
