Can I set up 2 Skype aliases on the one machine?

I'd like to know is it possible to have 2 aliases on my machine on Skype? Without going into detail, one would be a personal alias, and the other a 'business name' alias.

I presume you mean two seperate user accounts?
If so, then yes there's no problem doing this.

Yeah, I have just tried that, but I can't have both running simultaneously. Unless I am missing something?

You can only have one instance of skype running at a time in windows so it won't allow you to run two accounts on it at once, just curious why do you need two accounts running at once?

Perhaps somebody may be able to advise of an alternative to your needs if you can provide more details

Thanks Cabaal. I am already 'established' with my own personal alias. I was thinking of addnig another as a business contact for mt company, to invite people to Skype me (under my business name), after they would see my contact details on my business website.
