    put him all-in

if he has a T reload but looks like a worse ace

Do you think i should re-raise the flop here to find out where i am?

    no.never.ever.

he has 20 left or something? ship it.

You say never ever raise the flop. If my opponent stack was deeper should i not re-raise the flop to see where i am. If he bets half the pot on the turn i still wont have any idea of his strength, is re-raising the turn not worth the extra money for the information ill get???

no. if he had a normal stack, call the flop and if he bets half pot on this turn then call again

raising to "see where you are" is a very bad thing almost always

Why not a re-raise on the flop though? You aren't going to know where you stand if you call him down

Raising for information is fundamentally bad. There are a million threads here and a good one on 2+2 about why this is the case.

At this level, if you raise the flop, many people will shove with A2o as they have top pair (teh nuts), so you find out very little.
