Monitor likes...changing colours?

    I have a HP L1706 flatscreen monitor and it's seems to like changing colours from time ot time, usually when there are loads of bright colours on the screen. The screen will just get a green tint for a few seconds and then go back to normal for a while, and after another few seconds the green tint would come back for a second.

    Any idea what could be the cause of this and how to fix it?

    You sure the plug(s) are screwed in well?
