    She's looking well for 99 !

    Great portait. I'd level it though. Its all very grey. Brief glimpse in PS shows a big empty space to the right of the histogram. If you did an autolevels it probably got confused by the highlights on the necklace, a quick manual adjustment ought to set you right.

    She's a feisty looking 99 year old - looks like 30 years younger.

    I think the photo is a bit flat looking and could do with a slight levels adjustment. See my quick version attached.

    thanks -- took the shot with a flash in the nursing home, so backdrop is pretty basic !
    I have another colour one which i was going to use also , which is better ?

    'tis candid, which I do like. The only photos I ever print out of my family are the likeness of this and they love them over posed ones.

    i agree , i hate posed potraits , i think its important to try and get the personality , especially as you approach the big 100 !
