    Hero is UTG+2 with 8c, 9c

2 folds, Hero calls $1 and raises $4, 5 folds, scruffhead calls $4 and raises $4, Hero calls $4

scruffhead bets $4, Hero calls $4

    Turn: 8h (2 players, $26.5)
scruffhead bets $8, Hero calls $8 and raises $16, scruffhead calls $16

    River: Tc (2 players, $74.5)
    scruffhead checks, Hero???

    Couple of questions:

    Villain is 29/4 here

Is it bad play raising with suited connecters here to mix things up or should i be only raising from late position?

Should i call min re-raise pre-flop smells like he dosent want to play this hand post-flop maybe JJ's or TT. Im playing to hit a straight or flush here so i should have implied odds if i hit either and i will be in position, unlikely 1 pair will win anything here

My Plan is to check/fold flop unless i hit good flop, he comes out with a poor bet again of 1/4 pot giving flush draw odds to call, still smells of JJ and hes afraid of the King. Im getting a good price to call here considering i have 1 pair. Should i call here or re-raise to get him off an underpair to Kings??

Hows my re-raise on the turn here, dont want to scare off TT-QQ here with an all in???

Whats my best option to get the as much of his stack as possible in here on the river giving the range i put him on or how do you recommend to play this river?

Once you're not opening all SCs from EP it's fine to mix it up a little so that thinking opponents can't assign you a really tight range for EP raising. I'd be inclined to bet 1/2 - 2/3rd pot on the river and bring AK to value town.

yep. I wouldn't really be a big fan of opening scs here too often at fr though.

    Whats fr??

I pushed on the river for my final $50 or so and he folded. Taught after he called the re-raise on the turn that he wasnt getting away from this hand with $75 already in the pot. Possibly had the flush draw so he might not have called anything
