    Eset's Nod32 antivirus is the best Antivirus in the world. Hasnt missed a virus in over 8 years. it cost £23+vat for a year of subscriptions or £35 for a 2 years subscription. its not the cheapest by no means but is the best.
    you can get it for free for 45 days here. you'll be able to keep on using it after that time but it will not update its definitions. it will still be more effective than most (even updated) antiviruses but you better buy it then or opt for another free 45 version if thats still available
