Today on Newstalk i heard the ad for BUPA.... about switching overt to bupa and that they were keeping their prices frozen for 2007?

Isn't (aren't?) BUPA pulling out of Ireland? More to the point for a radio thread, do Newstalk have to broadcast the ad so many times to guarantee their fee, even if the ad is now irrelevant?

Where you away or something? Quinn bought them last month. Surprised you missed it.. it was the cuase of massive political debate as they do not have to pay the fees as they are technically a new player etc.

I don't think that's been decided just yet - but irregardless of the name, extra customers for BUPA Ireland will remain customers even if it becomes Quinn Health.

The dominant cable company in Dublin is still NTL, more than a year after NTL sold it to UPC (Chorus' owners).
