PC wont power off

    Hi

    Im having a problem with my pc. After I click on Start > and Shutdown,
    Windows XP shuts down, but my pc remains powered on.

    The only way to turn off the pc is by holding down the power button.

    Any suggestions or help as to how I can fix this problem?

    Did you by any chance turn off the power options in the bios? this needs to be on to power off itself
