Don't know if anyone can help with this. I'm looking for some legal advice re access to my son.

Divorced from my ex wife since last December. We have a 4yr old son. Access to my son has always been a problem with my ex constantly saying that they were not there or were going away so I couldnt call to him. She then moved house and changed telephone number so I had to track her down. Because of all this I don't have a solid relationship with my son.

I went to solicitor and my ex agreed to access of a few hours at the w/e to start with. My problem is that my son will not come with me. He used to come to the shop with me and little things like that but now he won't come past the front door with me. It's getting progressively worse. I've asked my ex to encourage him but she tells me this is all my fault. He throws tantrums and tells me he hates me. I know he's only 4 and doesn't understand the situation but I do honestly believe that my ex is saying Ok to the access because she can't not, but is making sure he won't go with me.

Is there anything legal I can do about this? Can I get a professional involved i.e a psychologist. I'm grasping at straws here but the situation is really bad.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.
