Anyone notice a lot of studio noise (keyboard and mouse clicks) on certain radio stations while presenter or guest is speaking. Gets on my nerves.

Happens a LOT on Drivetime with that stuttering one (cant remember her name). She always seems to be clicking on a mouse or shuffling papers while someone else is talking.

Or certain other radio presenters slurping coffee and nibbling rasher sandwidge :D

Certain ILRs get other files prepared on the same PC that's playing out the piece that's being aired. That means that Windows noises (e.g. clicking on a window, maximising a window) are aired in stereo. You'd think they'd turn them off!

I seem to notice it on newstalk a lot. Especially on the lunchtime show, lots of typing sounds.
