hey, well done on the offer. know all too well about the garda clearance issue. sent mine off a month ago, still waiting...

So are you teaching at the moment? Know someone who did primary PGCE in Hope and loved it. I'm going to john moores myself. Heard today that accommodation week is in feb or march. i had no idea there was such a thing!

"The current average processing time for vetting applications is approximately five weeks."

so says the parlimentary debates website. hmmm think that might be a bit of an underestimation.

Hi again, been a while since I was here! I was told that I cannot get vetted until the university registers with the Vetting Agency. In the meantime, I was told by the university to apply for info. about myself under the Data Protection Act. Did that, sent it off but have heard nothing since. Any luck you?

September is getting closer....mixture of nerves and excitement now. Have to arrange two week observation period at start of September, one week here, one in Lliverpool....should be a fun week next week..!!!

    hi quick question,

i have decided to try go to liverpool to do the primary teaching, can anyone tell me the closing date for applications? i know ive missed the boat for 2007, or do they do cancellations at all?
dont have hons Irish so cant apply to any of colleges here. prob gonna sit my irish for summer 08 and then apply to both pats and liverpool for next year courses.

    is this the best option?
