Probably other threads about this in other forums but im curious about something.

Personally i do not give a rats if the English national anthem is played in croker. Anyone who knows me will know i care nothing for any crap that happened in the past before i was born. Its over with so people should move on.

Anyway my question is why is there such a fuss? Is this actually even the first time the anthem was played there? Would it not have been played at the special olympics in Croke park?

I couldnt give a rats arse either. Whats the big fuss in the media all about?
Were more british as a nation than celtic or viking or anything else, so why not GSTQ. Hell why not have it as our own anthem?
It will be played. End of story.

It was played at the special olympics. I guess the media didnt bother highlighting it.

The fuss is because people are idiots and have nothing better to gripe about.

Very good point about the Special Olympics and one I shall use to shut up anyone who comes out with that crap at the weekend.
