Holdem No Limit - $1 BB

    SB ($34) [69LAS96 ]
    BB ($39) [ldbrk2 ]
    UTG ($0) [KArbab ]
    UTG+1 ($69.50) [RYanmoe ]
    UTG+2 ($79.75) [Barbie 66 ]
    MP+1 ($153.50) [Ali Gee ]
    MP+2 ($86.50) [Strandhill ]
    CO ($95) [Hero]
    Button ($47.50) [Pike_Bishop ]

Hero is CO with Ac, Js
    Preflop: (7 players, $1.5)
2 folds, Strandhill calls $1, Hero calls $1 and raises $3, 2 folds, RYanmoe calls $3, Strandhill folds

Flop: Qc, Jh, Ah (2 players, $9.5)
RYanmoe checks, Hero bets $6, RYanmoe calls $6

    Turn: 9c (2 players, $21.5)
    RYanmoe checks, Hero checks

    River: Kd (2 players, $21.5)
    RYanmoe bets $15, Hero folds

    Results: Hero has Ac, Js
RYanmoe wins $20.5 as the last player standing

This is an easy fold right??, could i have played it any different? Should i have bet the turn, felt it was catch 22 if i bet i was just inflating the pot so i wanted to keep it small and if i checked i was leaving myself open to a river bluff/semi-bluff. Decided to take the free card and the river made it an auto fold for me

    bet more on the flop

    checking the turn is horrible

    call the river

calling the river is because he has missed hearts and worse 2 pair enough for it to be profitable

Bet the turn, so many draws and you give him free card.
Call river for reasons valor gave.

Probably being too paranoid on the turn so. For some reason i was convinced he had the better hand on the turn....Monster Under the bed syndrome

I still dont like calling the river though

well, you're wrong, i cant really explain it anybetter the simple fact is that an unknown will have a hand worse than yours more than enough to justify calling

Why did you check the turn as a matter of interest?

Maybe i need to drop back to the 25/50c for a while. Alot of hands ive posted recently my thinking behind them has been wrong, ive played only STT's for the last few months so adjusting to deepstack is a small bit diffucult. I dont think im that far off being a profitable player but i need to think more about the hands and why im betting, checking etc, ive also got caught in a few bluffs where i picked bad spots to bluff so i think ill just try and bluff very little. Saying that im not that bad and ive learned an awful lot about position, starting hands etc but ive still alot to learn.

Just noticing 25/50 level is the same buying as 50/1 on tribeca so which is best. The 25/50 seems to have alot of shortstacked players compared to 50/1, am i better off staying on 50/1 as im risking the same stack although the pots will be bigger on 50/1, dont like playing shortstacks though and i get bored playing for small pots so is it ok to stay at 50/1 because im about -2bb/100 after 1 week of play (was +2.3bb/100 until yesterday when i had a bad day) so although my play needs improvement im still learning alot from the hands im posting here. I dont mind risking my bankroll doing this which is approx $1,000
