    DJ Scope & MC Little Tree (Lobby Bar)

    DJ Mek has been djing for 20years, and is cited as being the innovator and pioneer of Hip Hop DJing in Ireland. His group Scary Eire were heralded as the one of the best Hip Hop groups of of Europe by HHC, Tommy Boy along with the like of Gunshot and London Posse. His production credits include Ian Brown, Suggs from Madnesss, Sweetie Irie, La Coka Nostra and Rodney P to name but a few.

    As DJ and producer of Scary Eire, Mek and Co. were asked to sign for Mo' Wax in the mid 90's but declined the offer and went to Island. Dj Mek has shared the stage with U2, Beastie Boys, House of Pain, Kool Keith, and many more. Regarded by many as one of the most entertaining deejays to watch and listen, Mek will be making a first appearance at Choice Cuts new clubnight DiG.

    Sharing the 1200's with him on the night will be Dublin based Polish DJ Mat Jazz. he has supported all the famous Polish Dj's, such as: Maceo Wyro & Niewinni Czarodzieje, Jazz Break Noise Soundsystem, THC Underground, MK Fever, Dj Krime, Fisz, Aua Soundsystem, Sonic Trip and of course Skalpel

    Matt Jazz has also played with such international Djs as Michael Reinboth (Sonnar Collective - Jazzanova), Dj Ender (Nu Spirit Helsinki), Funky Porcini, Hexstatic, Skalpel, Jaga Jazzist, Solid Steel & "Ninja Tune Night" with DK & Pest and US3, Tom Wieland and Dj Vadim and Russian Percussion. In 2002 the Jazz Club Hipnoza (www.jazzclub.pl) was opened in Katowice became a temple for jazz headz. From this scene an experimental live band called "Karbonauci" was created with Matjazz scratching. As well as many other gigs, "Karbonauci" supported The Herbalizer in Hipnoza.

    Matjazz`s forte is old school hip-hop & breaks presented in a funky way and his love of traveling and breaks brought Matjazz to Ireland where he became a member and co-founder of Breakology. Apart from dj-ing with Breakology Cru, he is also a guest Dj at A Jam Named Saturday @ Anseo, where he is mixing together with Lex Woo and Bongo and other guests. Also in Anseo he played at Solas Anseo Dj Carnival- a two day festival of premier Irish talents organized by Gerry Molumby from Big Brother Records :)

    DJ Scope and MC Little Tree have been doing gigs on and off for 5 years. Playing a mix of hip hop reggae funk and allsorts, They have supported Groove Armada, Basement Jaxx, The Congos, Massive Attack and a few more.
