[Req] Where to buy small statues

    Hi All,

I’m looking to buy one or two small statues for an apartment, made from either clay or metal. These can be quite pricy in art shops, so I’m looking for an alternative distributor (eg an E-bay trader, someone who makes them from their garage as a hobby). Any suggestions? (Leinster Area)

    Thanks In Advance

Dublin Mouldings in Parnell Street does them in plaster and they are quite reasonable, about 40euro for busts and things. They may not be to your taste though, as they have busts of The Beatles, etc, but they will make them to order. This would no doubt be more expensive. At the junction of Parnell and Nth. Georges.

Auctions would be a good spot to look also. Herman and Wilkinson in Rathmines have one every thursday morning at 10. There are frequent appearances of this type of thing and they are usually cheap. Viewing is on the Wednesday afternoon.
