    Tribeca 500 player tournament for 25000 APs, 1st prize is worth $12.5, no other places payed.
    Most of this is from memory so details may be slightly off.

    Final table 7 handed. Blinds are 1500/3000, I have about 90000 in the cut-off, Villain has maybe 110,000 in the BB. Villain is probably one of the top 2 players at the table. Is very aggressive, but reasonably tight. He has been reraising button raises/LP blind steals from the blinds, mostly over betting to pot commit himself and the LP player.
    My image would be quite tight, but willing to fire many barrels, the railbirds are giving me respect if that makes a diff.

    Folded to me in the CO, I raise to 11k with KQo, button folds, SB folds, BB dwells and calls.

    Pot=23500, Flop: Jd 9c 3d
    BB checks, I C-bet for 19000, BB dwell and calls. I have 60k left, Villain has 90k

    Pot= 61500, Turn: Jd 9c 3d 5s
    Villain open pushes.

    I have a strong feeling that any T, Q or K will win this for me, slight chance that he's pushing with some kind of draw.

    Gamble no lose? The fact that there's only a 1st prize made calling seem like a good option. If I fold I'll be 2nd or 3rd shortest stack.

    I probably fold but good case for gambling.

    Hated the 2 hands that crippled you and knocked you out but great move with the 54s.

    Do you remember the details of the crippling hand and the 54s hand?

    Even getting 2/1, I think calling is marginal at the very best. I don't like it, and even though folding isn't great either, it's still better.

    i probably dont cbet the flop in this situation. what are the other stacks like.

    a lot of effort for 12.5$ ;)

    how much does it cost to rake 25k points?

    54s, you button raise as you have been doing regularly, bb reraises half his stack or so, you go all in. Karl presses the button. Blinds were 4k 8k or so? You made it 26k he made it 60k you push 200k covering.

    Crippling hand, you raise from LP, similar blinds. BB same size stack calls. Pot on flop 70k you have 170k, he bets pot on flop, you flatcall and fold his turn push.

    so its essentially 10% rakeback but given in the forum of a winner take all crapshoot. Is this the worst value tournament in the history of online poker?

    No Im wrong, their WSOP freeroll is worse.

    No, the WSOP freeroll is 15k points with 999 players, 1 prize. Theyre just giving the US players a chance to use up their action points.
