There used to be a good tournament in the Jackpot on Tue nights before Christmas, something like 8/10 k starting stack etc...

Had a look at their website, says only €100 double chance, no time etc...

Would anyone know what time it starts, and what chip stack and round length they currently have?

    Cheers.

P.S. Does it get many runners at mo?

Yeh thats right. 3500k (+500 for early reg) + 4000k. 8 o'clock start be there for 8 to get your extra 500 although they take late reg for first 3 levels I think. 30 min levels decent structure and decent game. Not sure what numbers its been getting lately 40ish I think. Although I expect it to be well down on this tonight with the sat. on in the SE.

I'm debating whether to play this or the SE Irish open qualifier. I'm sure that Anto will have the answer...

    move to Omaha

    blind Omaha

if that doesn't work Badugi should do the trick

actually the games seem to have really tightened up in the last couple of weeks. Be interesting to see what way things go post-merger

are you playing this el stuntman?

no - I have a real live wife, baby and dog that I need to interact with occasionally or else I get deprived of basic goods and services

might try and get out later in the week though, SE tomorrow maybe if anyone's interested?

Judging by your graph yesterday you have persisted playing 1/2 when you should already have moved down to 50/1. You were playing 1/2 last night and there was no seat to your left at any of your tables when I was trying to move in on you, if you are gonna give it away you might as well give it to a boardsie - maybe later!! :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,894 ✭✭✭✭phantom_lord

    mean :(

the graph also consists of a -7buyin session when I finished up .5/1 and 250 in drunken poker.

I'm only down ~4 buyins or so at 1/2, and most of that can be accounted for getting it all-in vs 4/5 underpairs and them hitting sets. I'll move down if the br hits ~3kish.

    I'm stubborn :)

you must have picked a bad time, on two tables at one stage I had juicy 500+ stacks with free seats...

edit: that must have been when I was playing on gjp in the afternoon, rather than my ultra secret doyles account, yeah you should have jumped in, I was playing pretty badly.

he spent the war in a pow camp, so he did loads of probability experiments, one which involved tossing a coin 10,000 times.

exciting stuff...you learn something new everyday...
