decent VOIP app?

    Does anyone use VOIP on linux and have you found a decent program for it?
    I've been having a lot of trouble with SKype - freezes lasting anything from 5 seconds to 15 minutes(!) whenever I make or receive a call. The sound is decent though, which is more than can be said for Ekiga or Gizmo.
    I haven't been able to sign up to Wengophone, theeir site refuses me for some reason, but am not sure it's even worth the download.
