I need to ship a large item form the UK to Ireland, It is a large wooden box 20" x 20" x 30" and weighs 7kg.

Does nayone know who can ship this for me for the cheapest rate? I do not need it in a hurry...

    Thanks

That's not too big - most carriers will take it no problem.

Royal Mail - slow but reasonably priced.

UPS Groud - 2 days mid price

Interlink - good service not sure about the price.

DHL Ground - as per UPS

I have found interlink quite good.

    Thanks guys

Anyone that I have tried to get a quote from online is charging me huge money. The cheapest I have got is £65 which is more than the item cost me to buy.
Its silly cause I know people who have got a full set of alloy wheels with tyres shipped from the Uk to Ireland for less than that! How can this be, do certain business have special deals when they have an account or somehting? Is there any way I can get a special dea, I really do not care if it takes weeks to get to me, I just want the best price possible!

I will try calling Interlink and http://www.businesspost.biz too who I hear are quite good.

If you have regular business with the UK this would cost you about €15 with interlink / UPS etc etc.

Parcelforce via the Uk postoffice network is part of the GLS group - website gives a quote of £21 www.parcelforce.co.uk

Does anyone have a regular account with Interlink or UPS? If anyone does and want to help me out I am happy to send you the money via paypal with a little somehting for yourself!

Strange, I tried parcelforce yesterday and they gave me a huge quote! Maybe I did somehting wrong I'll try again....
